The composition of this project includes a 5,500sm addition to the existing 10,000sm London Secondary School. The relocation of 500 students from Steveston Secondary School will bring the enrollment up to 1,375 students.

The addition includes a new gymnasium, library, 150-seat performing arts theatre, music room, science block (including 2 super-labs and 9 classrooms), as well as the new school entrance and administration. These new spaces are all adjacent a new central atrium space which acts as the main circulation between the existing school and the new entrance. The atrium also allows natural daylight into the adjacent gymnasiums and interior classrooms.
